A detour has been established for both directions of the US 395.
Northbound traffic will detour via North Road, while Southbound traffic will detour via Denison-Chattarow Road to US2.
SPOKANE, Wash. – A head-on crash with two vehicles on US-395 near Dragoon Road has blocked traffic in both directions, according to the Spokane Department of Transportation.
The incident has prompted authorities to advise drivers to use alternate routes and expect delays. Northbound traffic will be redirected onto North Road. Southbound traffic will take Denison Chattaroy over to Highway 2.
David LaChapelle told NonStop Local both drivers were transported to the hospital for serious injuries, and both cars had no other passengers.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. and NonStop Local has a crew on scene.
Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and consider alternative routes to avoid congestion in the area.
