Unlicensed driver arrested for DUI after crash in Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A 55-year-old man was arrested for suspicion of DUI after causing a crash in Spokane Valley.

Christopher McLeod, who was wanted and unlicensed, allegedly ran a red light and caused a collision at East Appleway and South Park Road last Saturday. A witness reported that McLeod was driving recklessly prior to the crash.

Deputies at the scene noted McLeod appeared unsteady and smelled of alcohol. McLeod admitted he did not have a driver’s license or insurance.

His bond was set at $7,500.
