SPOKANE, Wash. – The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force announced the arrest of Christian Harrison Evensizer, 28, in Spokane today.

Evensizer, who’s charged with aggravated lewd conduct with a minor under 12 by the Post Falls Police Department, was taken into custody without incident near Sprague Avenue and Stone Street.

The arrest followed a coordinated investigation involving the U.S. Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force, the Greater Idaho Fugitive Task Force, and several other law enforcement agencies.

Evensizer was transported to the Spokane County Jail and is pending extradition to Idaho.

Brent Bunn, the United States Marshal for the District of Idaho, praised the collaborative efforts of the task force and law enforcement partners.

“The diligent investigate efforts of the Post Falls Police Department and collaboration with our task force and other partners led to the quick apprehension of a dangerous fugitive who was actively evading law enforcement,” Bunn said.
