President Trump’s approval rating declined slightly in a recent poll from NBC News as Americans grapple with challenges like inflation and the cost of living.
42% of people polled approved of Trump’s presidency at this point in time, compared to 58% who disapproved.
27% of those polled said their primary concern was the economy, and 53% said they trust Democrats more than Republicans to curb rising prices.
The poll also found that 71% of those polled disapprove of the Trump administration’s handling of the Epstein files.
Trump’s approval rate fell within his own base as well, the poll found. Approval from self-identified MAGA Republicans fell from 79% in April to around 70% now.
