Washington D.C. – The Trump administration is resuming work on a flash flood risk database, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). This database will consider climate change in its estimates for the first time.

The initiative aims to assist civil engineers and designers in evaluating the risk of flash flooding for infrastructure projects such as bridges and roads. The database is expected to provide crucial information for building safer infrastructure.

Earlier reports indicated a pause in the project’s progress, but the administration is now moving forward with its development.
