The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office reports tracking teams believe Travis Decker is in the Blewett Pass/Highway 97 area.
Anyone in the reported area is asked to remain on alert and report any suspicious activity.
A hiking party reported they saw a lone hiker in the Enchantments area that seemed unprepared for the trail and weather conditions that was avoiding other people.
Tracking teams immediately responded to the area and reportedly saw the lone hiker off trail near Colchuck Lake that reportedly ran out of sight as the helicopter passed.
More teams have been called to the area and K9s picked up a trail in the area leading to the Ingalls Creek Trailhead on Highway 97.
Hikers in the Enchantments area who may have seen anything are asked to contact the tip line at 1-800-336-0102, or USMS Tips at www.usmarshals.gov/tips.
Anyone who was hiking alone is asked to also report to the tip line so investigators can follow up.
Cabin owners are asked to keep doors and cars locked and to look out for their neighbors.
If you have cameras set up, the sheriff’s office is asking that you check them.
The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office is still working on the murder investigation at this time.

The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday morning that the community alert for the area of Ingalls Creek and Valley High remains in effect while authorities search for Travis Decker.
“As this situation remains in effect, we appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation,” CCSO said.

The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) has announced that they may be closing in on Travis Decker in the area of Ingalls Creek and Valley High.
“Law enforcement is searching for suspect Travis Decker in the area of Ingalls Creek and Valley High as he is believed to potentially be in this area,” the CCSO stated. “Please secure your homes and vehicles, stay alert, and report any suspicious activity to 911.”
The CCSO added a warning that residents and visitors in the area will see a visible increase in law enforcement presence throughout the night as a precaution.
