COLFAX, Wash. – The Whitman County Sheriff’s Office said it recovered thousands of dollar’s worth of stolen property after executing a search warrant at a house in Endicott.

The office said it acted on information from the Pullman Police Department as a part of an investigation into a series of Pullman property crimes from late December.

The property crimes included stealing from cars and attempting to sell the stolen goods on social media.

While searching the house, deputies found electronics, tools and other expensive items matching the items that were stolen in Pullman, according to the sheriff’s office.

After executing the search warrant, the sheriff’s office arrested a 33-year-old and booked them into the Whitman County jail for possession of stolen property, trafficking stolen property and identity theft.

The case is still under investigation by the sheriff’s office and the pullman police department. The sheriff’s office said it expected to add additional charges.
