COLBERT, WASH- 2012, it was the year of the London Olympics, The Hunger Games was a top box office movie and Gangnam Style was all over the radio—It also was the year Jadelyn Houske went to prom.

“Oh yeah I got a limo for prom, I do remember that ,” Houske said.

Houske, the North Spokane mom—who is also a Mt. Spokane High School Graduate now spends her days chasing after her three children and those kids have a deep love of all things Disney Princess.

“Everyday feels like a Disney story with three little girls running around in their princess dresses all day,” Houske said.

She says she remembers the dancing – and her boyfriend at the time —she decided to keep him to…

“My boyfriend at the time is now my husband,” Houske said.

On top of the dancing she also remember something her at the time five-year-old now sister-in-law did.

“Well I was looking back at my photos and I was like—oh my gosh look at Norah in this Elsa dress, we have to re-create the photo,” Houske said.

Nora Houske crashed promo photos dressed as a Princess.

“Everyone else was in pretty dresses so I had to join the club,” Nora Houske said.

Nora is no longer that five-year-old, in fact just last week she went to Mt. Spokane High School’s prom

And you guessed it, last week Nora’s nieces crashed her prom photo shoot in princess dresses just like she did in 2012.

“We talked about it, we joked about it—but I didn’t actually think they were going to show up in little dresses,” Nora Houske said “but it was super cute because I immediately remembered.”

Now all grown up, Nora Houske is getting ready for her graduation and to start school in Helena, Montana at Carol College. But she says if everything times out:

“Well when my nieces go to prom maybe my kids will do the same thing,” Nora Houske said.

As for her sister-in-law on the other hand.

“It’s a super rich full circle moment for sure,” Houske said.
