
CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. – The Federal Bureau of Investigation is analyzing bones they discovered during their two-day grid search operation at the scene where Travis Decker allegedly murdered his three daughters.
The operation, which spanned from August 25 to August 27, included over 100 personnel who searched over one million square meters of land in the Rock Island Campground area.
FBI public affairs officer Ted Halla said that they are not sure if the bonds are animal or human and have sent them to be analyzed.
The bones might be included in the series of items the during the search in a statement released yesterday.
“Search personnel recovered several items that are being examined to determine if they are related to this investigation,” Special Agent in Charge of FBI Seattle W. Mike Herrington said in a press release about the items.
FBI Seattle Division has said in the past that there is no conclusive evidence to indicate whether Decker is .
The U.S. Marshals Service is offered a reward of $20,000 for information that would lead to his arrest. However, Decker is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information is urged to avoid confrontation and call 911.
