Thursday brings a beautiful stretch of weather as temperatures climb a few degrees higher than the previous day. Expect afternoon highs to reach the low 70s under building high pressure, while tonight remains cool with lows dipping into the mid-40s. Unlike the last few days, getting caught under an isolated shower isn’t something you need to worry about.
What We’re Tracking
The warming trend intensifies through the weekend, leading to a toasty Bloomsday race in Spokane on Sunday. Race-time temperatures will start in the low 60s and reach the 70s by early afternoon. Late-afternoon highs will soar into the 80s for most areas Sunday through Tuesday. We should expect a couple of temperature readings in the 90s around the lower Columbia Basin during this period. A stray shower or storm is still possible in the greater region on Saturday, thanks to a storm system off the West Coast.
