Suspicious vehicle call leads to felon’s arrest, drug and weapons seizure

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — A suspicious vehicle call led to the arrest of a wanted felon and seizure of drugs, weapons and cash, the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded to North Del Ray Drive and East Trent Avenue at 7 a.m. March 26 for a suspicious vehicle and unlawful camping report, according to the sheriff’s office. They found a white GMC van with two occupants.

Bo A. Divorne, 37, told deputies he and a female were sleeping in the vehicle because they were homeless, authorities said. A background check revealed Divorne had an active U.S. Marshals Service felony probation violation warrant for a weapons offense. He was arrested and booked into jail.

The female was detained but later released, the sheriff’s office said.

Deputies seized the van after observing evidence of possible firearms possession and drug use, according to authorities.

A search warrant execution with Spokane Valley Investigative Unit detectives yielded more than $9,700 in cash, 53.8 grams of suspected methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl powder, psilocybin mushrooms, a loaded Kel-Tec .22 pistol, an FN 9mm pistol and other evidence, the sheriff’s office said.

The investigation remains active with additional arrests expected, authorities said.
