LYNWOOD, Wash. – A suspect was stopped on Thursday night after stealing a Washington State Patrol (WSP) vehicle, according to WSP Trooper Rick Johnson.
The incident began when a WSP trooper approached a person running across the freeway. The individual allegedly pushed the trooper to the ground and took off with the patrol vehicle.
Other WSP units quickly responded and pursued the stolen vehicle, bringing the chase to an end on southbound Interstate 5 in Lynwood.
