SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Public Library announced Thursday the return of its popular Summer Reading Club, starting June 1.
The program, open to all ages, will run through August 31, offering free participation prizes for those who read at least 15 days each month.
Participants can track their reading progress using the online service “Beanstack,” earning badges and monthly prizes. The library will host a range of free events, including Science Speaks Spokane, Reptile Man, and Cecil the Magician for kids, as well as Coding Camp and Escape Rooms for teens.
Prizes include free books, tickets to local soccer matches, and ice cream treats, with contributions from local businesses. These rewards can be claimed at any SPL branch from June 1 to September 15.
