WASHINGTON STATE – A recent study by Phillips Law Firm highlighted concerning findings about elderly care in nursing homes across Washington. The research indicates that Washington trails behind California in terms of deficiency rates in nursing homes.

According to the study, 98% of the state’s nearly 200 facilities had at least one recorded deficiency. Each nursing home, on average, had 15.3 lapses in care.

Furthermore, 40% of these facilities were flagged for serious harm or risk, raising significant concerns about the quality of care provided to residents.
