
SPOKANE, Wash. – A student from Lewis & Clark High School was hit by a car early Thursday morning around 6:45 a.m. while in a crosswalk on Fourth Avenue near the school.
Law enforcement responded quickly to the scene, and the student was transported to the hospital.
In an email to parents, the school informed them of the incident and assured that the student’s family is aware of the situation.
Principal Ivan Corley expressed gratitude for the swift actions taken, saying, “We’re grateful for the speedy response of everyone involved.”
