STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. – The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents of a cougar near Summit Valley and Old CC Road.
The office posted a video of the cougar on its social media and said the cougar seemed to have a limp.
“This cat has done nothing wrong that we know of, but we’d like the area public to be aware as sometimes wounded cats are more likely to prep upon pets and small livestock when they have a diminished capacity to hunt wild game,” the office wrote.
