STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. – Stevens County Fire District 1 is urging caution amid multiple fires burning in the area, burning over 1,000 acres.
“All these fires around the state have nearly exhausted regional firefighting resources,” the fire district wrote in a social media post.
The fire district also said that any new fires that break out may be resource-challenged, and therefore more difficult to contain.
