STCU is offering free assistance to anyone in need of help with the FAFSA form, a crucial step for those looking to further their education. This initiative is a collaboration between STCU, local high school and college career counselors, and Launch NW.
Support is available to families of high school seniors planning for college, as well as anyone interested in continuing their post-secondary education or enrolling in career training programs. Importantly, the assistance is free to everyone, regardless of whether they are STCU members.
While there has been some progress, both Washington state and Idaho remain low in the percentage of students completing the FAFSA form. In contrast, Oregon ranks 20th in completion rate.
