EPHRATA, Wash. – State Route 282 will close on Monday for eight weeks between the Airport Road turnoff and the Dodson Road roundabout.
This Department of Transportation mandated closure will provide construction of a new roundabout to enhance safety at an intersection affected by traffic changes from a new county jail, according to Grant County.
While the Dodson Road roundabout will remain accessible from three directions, access to and from Moses Lake will not be possible, according to the county. The project is expected to finish by September 12.
There will be no pilot cars to guide traffic, but detour signs will be posted and a map can be found on the Grant County website.
Updates can be found on the Grant County Central Service or Grant County Sheriff’s Office social media pages.
