Sprague man gets 10 years for child abuse images

SPOKANE, Wash. – Jonathan Ray Stocker, 44, of Sprague, Wash., received a 10-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to possessing images and videos of sexual abuse of young children.

According to Acting U.S. Atty. Richard R. Barker Stocker must pay $45,000 in restitution and serve a lifetime of supervised release.

On July 1, 2023, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department was informed by a third party about the illicit content on Stocker’s computer.

A search warrant executed on Sept. 1, 2023, led to the discovery of more than 9,000 images and 184 videos of children under 12 being abused.

Stocker has a prior federal conviction for possession of child pornography, having been sentenced in 2012 to 48 months in prison and five years of supervised release.

This case is part of Project Safe Childhood, a Department of Justice initiative. The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigations and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
