
SPOKANE, Wash. – Protestors at B.A. Clark Park spoke out against Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) on Saturday, following the .
The B.A. Clark Park protest was scheduled to last from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and was organized by Spokane Indivisible, a chapter of the progressive activist organization Indivisible.
About 150 protestors attended. Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown and Spokane City councilmembers Zack Zappone and Kitty Klitzke made appearances.

“I’m incredibly upset by the killing of Renee Nicole Good,” Mayor Brown said. “The consequences of unchecked federal government power are playing out on the streets of our cities and undermining trust in the institutions of our democracy.”
The B.A. Clark Park protest is a part of Indivisible’s “ICE Out For Good Protest,” which aims to “mourn the lives taken and shattered by ICE and to demand justice and accountability,” according to Indivisible’s website.
