SPOKANE, Wash. – The A.M. Cannon Aquatic Center is temporarily closed, according to Spokane Parks and Recreation.

They cited a mechanical issue as the reason for the closure and said that staff are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

They said they would send an update as soon as the pool can reopen.

“BUMMER ALERT,” they wrote at the beginning of their announcement about the closure, expressing sadness about the incident before thanking would-be pool-attenders for their patience.
