Spokane youth who went missing in Bellevue has been found and reunited with family

Simeon Wiens has been found and reunited with his family, according to an update by the Bellevue Police Department.

“Bellevue Police would like to thank our regional law enforcement partners, the media, and community members for this full-court press effort to find Simeon,” the Bellevue Police Department wrote.

“Our collaborative work no doubt led to this good ending,” they added.

BELLEVUE, Wash. – Bellevue Police Department is searching for a missing 13-year old who was visiting Bellevue with his parents. The missing child is originally from Spokane.

Simeon Wiens is 13 years old, Black, about 5 feet tall and 100 pounds. He also wears glasses and was last seen wearing a blue Under Armor sweatshirt with black pants.

He was last seen at about 6:47 a.m. on Friday near Factoria Mall and originally disappeared leaving a local hotel at the 3200 block of 156th Avenue Southeast at about 6:19 a.m.

Bellevue Police Department reported that Wiens does not own a cell phone and, according to his parents, only has about $20 in his possession

The investigation is ongoing and Bellevue Police are looking at all video footage available for the case.

They ask any community members who may have seen Simeon Wiens or have security footage from their vehicles or residences or have any more information to call 911.
