Spokane woman sentenced for grand theft after stealing from employer

SPOKANE, Wash. – A Spokane woman was convicted of two counts of felony grand theft on July 15, after stealing various items from her employer during the previous year.

The incident occurred on September 27, 2024, when Amanda Racheal Hepburn, 40, was accused of stealing a laptop, cell phone, bank check and various other items. According to court documents, Hepburn’s criminal history includes convictions for grand theft, forgery and identity theft.

Hepburn was sentenced by District Judge Barbara Duggan to a unified eight-year prison sentence with parole eligibility after three years.
