Spokane Valley man appears on Wheel of Fortune

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Josh Williams of Spokane County is celebrating his appearance on the popular game show Wheel of Fortune.

The episode airing on February 26, 2026.

Williams shared his journey to the game show, which began a couple of years ago when he decided to apply online. “I go to Sony Studios to be a participant on the Wheel of Fortune,” he said.

Williams underwent a series of auditions, including two Zoom sessions, before being selected. “About a year later, they sent me a final e-mail saying, you have been selected for this date to come,” Williams said.

In California, Williams met the show’s iconic co-host, Vanna White. “We got to meet Vanna and she was just the nicest lady, super humble,” he said. He described the experience as smooth despite some nervous moments on stage.

Williams brought along his fiancée, son, brother and sister-in-law to the filming. “They all got to watch all the filmings and they got to spend some time in LA,” he said.

Reflecting on his love for the game, Williams said, “I love the game. So we play every night still. Yes. It is a family tradition.”

While he couldn’t reveal any spoilers, Williams promised viewers a good time. “You expect a good time. And you have to tune in to see what I want,” he said.
