
SPOKANE, Wash. – A months-long investigation by the Spokane Valley Investigative Unit led to the arrest of a man suspected of selling large amounts of Fentanyl and methamphetamine, according to the Spokane Valley Police Department.
The department announced the 40-year-old man’s arrest in a December 9 press release with the information on the investigation and the man’s thirteen previous felony convictions.
The investigation began in the fall, when the Spokane Valley Investigative Unit started an investigation into the delivery and sales of controlled substances, the department said.
After identifying the suspect, detectives learned that he had thirteen previous felonies, including identity theft, unlawful possession of a firearm, burglary, community custody violation, trafficking stolen property and various counts of theft.
Additionally, the Washington State Department of Corrections had a warrant out for the suspect’s arrest.
Detectives obtained a search warrant for the man’s arrest and, with SWAT assistance, searched his house and arrested him on November 25, 2025 around 9:20 a.m, according to the department’s press release.
The department said detectives found evidence including a scoped rifle, a .22 caliber rifles, a stolen 9mm pistol, hundreds of pills suspected of containing Fentanyl, suspected Methamphetamine, used drug scales, drug packaging materials, a stolen Trek bike, $314 in cash a stolen license plate and a white 2011 BMW.
The suspect was charged with counts of delivering Fentanyl, using a building for drug purposes, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property.
The suspect was booked into the Spokane County Jail with a bond of $190,000 and a Washington State Department of Corrections hold.
The investigation is still ongoing.
