SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The Mulberry Market Co. hosted its annual “Dog Days of August” event, combining a fundraiser and an adoption drive to support SpokAnimal.
Hannah Carlson, owner of Mulberry Market Co., expressed her enthusiasm for the event.
“I love just seeing all the people come together, and there’s so many dogs here, and everyone just is having so much fun, like gathering it’s, honestly, it’s my favorite part of the store, but also, like my favorite part about having events like this,” Carlson said.
Local businesses such as P-N-W Express Go, Big White Dog Photography, Bark & Denim and the Barking Lot participated, offering treats, shopping and adoptable pets.
Families attending the event had the opportunity to meet dogs in need of forever homes.
