Spokane teen charged with murdering stranger pleads not guilty

SPOKANE, Wash – A Spokane teenager charged with killing a husband and father earlier this month pleaded not guilty Tuesday in court.

Prosecutors say Onyx Deligt killed 44-year-old Dylan Bundy-Gray in northeast Spokane.

Court documents say the incident stemmed from Deligt and another person whistling at a young woman who was walking down the street.

Bundy-Gray was sitting on his porch and told them to stop and a physical fight ensued.

Prosecutors say Deligt shot Bundy-Gray, then the teenagers took off. Police say Deligt also shot his friend in the hand during the incident.

Deligt is charged with second degree murder and first degree assault.

In court Tuesday, the judge held his bail at $1 million.

Even thought Deligt is facing charges as an adult, his attorney requested that news media not be able to show his face. The judge agreed.

Deligt’s trial is set for May.
