SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Spokane Symphony, featuring its mobile concert stage “BeethoVAN”, is bringing a free sunset concert to Spokane Valley on Friday, June 20 at 8:20 p.m.
The event will be held at Mirabeau Meadows in Mirabeau Point Park, the city said in a release.
The community is invited to enjoy a performance by a string trio and harp from the Spokane Symphony.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the music in the beautiful park setting.
“The Spokane Symphony is passionate about bringing the power of music to everyone in our community,” Jason Moody, Spokane Symphony Director of Education and Community Engagement, said.
The BeethoVAN, funded by a grant from the Hagan Foundation, allows musicians to connect with audiences in unique settings across the Inland Northwest.
“Parks and open spaces are vital for our community’s well-being, offering opportunities for recreation, relaxation and connection with nature,” John Bottelli, Spokane Valley Parks and Recreation Director added.
