SPOKANE, Wash. – A community workshop hosted by the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is set to take place at Frances Scott Elementary on Thursday, January 22 as part of an ongoing series.

This month’s workshop will dive into landscaping topics, including tree replacement, storm water swales and architectural features.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. with the workshop running from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the school’s multipurpose room, located at 3737 East 5th Ave.

WSDOT’s engagement series aims to explore how places along the I-90 Connection at the North Spokane Corridor can be improved to strengthen connectivity and accessibility.

Previous workshops have gathered input on how the North Spokane Corridor connects with surrounding neighborhoods and transportation networks.
