
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — The Spokane Police Department is searching for an arson suspect believed to be responsible for multiple fires that occurred on July 8.
According to an alert from the department, officers are actively searching for Chad Horne in the area of 15000 East Broadway Avenue. Police said they have probable cause to arrest Horne for second-degree arson and he was last seen on foot near the Spokane Valley Walmart at around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Horne is described as a white male, 5’11” with a slim build and was last seen with blond hair, dark colored bike or spandex type shorts, a white headband, black tank top and carrying a large bag.
Multiple agencies, including K-9 units and drones, are assisting in the search, which extends to the Idaho state line.
Police urge anyone who sees Horne or notices any new fires to call 911 immediately. He may be traveling eastbound on foot.
