SPOKANE, Wash. – A suspect was arrested after a stabbing in Spokane’s Whitman neighborhood.
According to a Spokane Police Department spokesperson, officers responded around 12:15 p.m. to a report of a stabbing. When they arrived, the suspect had fled, but police were able to track the person down about 15 minutes later.
SPD said the suspect was arrested on a charge of first-degree assault. Investigators say the stabbing was a domestic violence incident.
Police said the attack was not fatal, but the victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
