According to a press release from the Spokane Police Department, officers arrested Andre Moore, 32, on Friday morning in connection with the .
Police said Moore was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Spokane County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.
The incident began around 1 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, when officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 block of South McClellan Street. When police arrived, they found Shafer dead inside a vehicle. Moore was not immediately located at the scene.
