SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Police Department (SPD) arrested 17 suspects last week in a “shoplifting blitz” aimed at addressing theft in the area. The operation involved SPD’s Special Investigations Unit and Air Support Unit.
Arrests included individuals with active warrants and charges ranging from theft to animal cruelty and drug possession.
Daniel Strassenberg from the SPD Public Information Office emphasized the ongoing nature of this effort.
“SPD would like to remind community members that this theft emphasis continues,” Strassenberg stated.
