BOZEMAN, Mont. – A motorcycle crash on I-90 West near Bozeman on August 4 has left one man dead.
The 56-year-old man from Spokane was driving a Victory Cross Road motorcycle and was wearing a helmet, according to a media release. He “failed to negotiate a left-hand curve,” near mile marker 317 around 6:41 p.m. before being thrown from the motorcycle into loose gravel.
Police reported that drugs and alcohol did not play a factor, although the driver’s speed may have.
The identity of the man has not yet been released. He was pronounced dead in the hospital on August 7.
