SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane International Airport is preparing for a record number of travelers this Thanksgiving season.
Airport directors said that more than 150,000 seats are scheduled from November 21 through December 1.
Nearly 3,500 travelers are expected to pass through the terminal daily, with peak times predicted between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Airport officials are advising travelers to arrive at least two hours early. They also recommend checking your carry-ons to ensure no oversized liquids are present.
Those traveling to the airport to pick up passengers are asked to wait in the cell phone lot so as not to clog traffic by the main doors.
