SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane Indians return to Avista Stadium for the 2026 baseball season with major renovations designed to enhance the fan experience.
The upgrades include a new scoreboard, video board and sound system throughout the stadium. The improvements represent the team’s ongoing commitment to providing top-tier entertainment for baseball fans.
“It’s great we are always trying to raise the bar when it comes to fan entertainment, and I think we are doing that this year,” said Kyle Day, General Manager for the Spokane Indians.
While fans will enjoy the new technology, they’ll also notice changes to concessions. The concession stand that burned in a fire last September remains under construction. A temporary concession stand will serve fans during the interim, offering the same food and beverages. Staff said the new concession stand is expected to be complete in June.
The Indians open their season Friday against the Everett AquaSox. Gates at Avista Stadium open at 5:30 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. Opening night will feature fireworks and an AAA magnet schedule giveaway.
The weekend slate continues Saturday with a dance party fireworks night. First pitch is scheduled for 5:09 p.m. Sunday’s game begins at 1:05 p.m. and features an Easter theme, complete with an Easter Bunny available for photos with fans.
Parking remains free for all games.
The Indians plan to play 66 games this season. You can find their full schedule and the link to buy tickets here.
