SPOKANE, Wash. – The ‘Light a Lamp Organization’ hosted its annual fundraiser Friday night at Barrister Winery in downtown Spokane. The event aimed to bring more awareness to mental health issues.
The evening featured a silent auction, a raffle, and live music, creating an engaging atmosphere for attendees. Guests had the opportunity to participate in a meaningful act by lighting a tea candle. This gesture was to honor and remember those who have lost loved ones and friends to suicide.
Tickets for the event were priced at $75 per person. The organization stated that the funds raised will be used to expand its program into 27 schools by August.
