SPOKANE, Wash. – For 30 years, Vicki’s Garden Center has been a staple supplier for the Coeur d’Alene Resort, delivering their iconic red geraniums. This year, the local flower shop is sending 30,000 geraniums to the resort.
The family-owned business, now in its third generation, plays a significant role in the resort’s floral displays, including areas like the marina and golf course. Vicki’s Garden Center keeps extra stock for customers who want the same geraniums seen at the resort.
“We get so many people that come in and say, I want the same geranium that you can see over at the Hagadone Resort. So, we do carry a couple of extra thousand of those,” Vicki said.
The tango red geranium, exclusive to the resort, will be transported to Coeur d’Alene and planted this week. The shop also supplies various other colors and to different clients.
