SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Fire Department (SFD) responded to a fire at People’s Park near downtown Spokane.
SFD said they received the initial call at 9:07 a.m. and were about to control most of the flames within twenty minutes.
They are currently working on a wet line and to dig containment.
However, they successfully put a stop to the fire’s forward progress. Crews are working on hotspots now.
