SPOKANE, Wash. – LifeCenter Northwest hosted an organ donation celebration at the CenterPlace Regional Event Center. The event honored individuals who have contributed through organ, eye and tissue donations.
Organizers highlighted the opportunity for the community to gather, share stories and connect.
Ashlei Lind, director of external affairs at LifeCenter Northwest, emphasized the ongoing support offered to families.
“This is just an extension of the support we provide to families,” Lind said. “It is something that families are welcome to attend for many, many years after their loved ones have become a donor. We welcome them back into this community for however long they would like.”
The Spokane event marked the beginning of a series of celebrations planned across the Northwest. Similar gatherings are scheduled in Seattle, Billings and Missoula.
