SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Department (SCSO) shared on social media that they are seeking public assistance in locating two runaway teens.
13-year-old Makiyah H. Burland and 14-year-old Londyn M. Broussard were last seen on October 26 and reported as runaways by family members.
Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Office deputies were advised that the teens likely took a Spokane Transit Authority (STA) bus from Greenacres to downtown on Sunday evening without permission, and their whereabouts remain unknown.
“Due to their age, the cold, wet weather, and past medical concerns for one of the juveniles, the families are concerned about their safety,” SCSO said in a press release.
