
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A Spokane County S.C.O.P.E. vehicle hit a 61-year-old woman while she was crossing an intersection, according to Washington State Patrol.
Patrol said the crash happened on Thursday morning at 9300 E Montgomery Avenue.
It said the Spokane County S.C.O.P.E. car was driving west, failed to stop at a red light at an intersection, and hit a woman who was walking across the intersection.
She was transported to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
Spokane County S.C.O.P.E. is a volunteer organization that works with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. It stands for Sheriff’s Community Oriented Policing Effort.
