SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Preston McCollam will now oversee the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office following a unanimous vote by the county’s governing board.
This decision comes after outgoing prosecutor , stating his desire to leave while in good health.
The motion to approve McCollam corrects an improper vote held last week when the commissioners did not provide proper notice.
McCollam will serve as interim prosecutor until a permanent replacement is approved by the Spokane County Commission.
