SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Spokane County Fire District 9 has issued a safety alert as weekend grilling activities increase in cold weather.
Firefighters are advising residents to thoroughly check their equipment before starting the grill. They emphasized the importance of clearing the cooking area and keeping combustible items at a safe distance.
Additionally, firefighters reminded everyone to perform basic maintenance on their grills to ensure safety.
