SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – A 31-year-old suspect was arrested by deputies of the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) on Wednesday in connection with a stolen vehicle.
Deputies responded to an Automated License Plate Reader alert around 6:40 p.m. about a silver Chevrolet Malibu that was reported stolen in Montana on June 3.
After locating the vehicle on North McKinnon Road and East Upriver Drive and confirming the Montana license plate, deputies safely detained the suspect without further issue.
SCSO investigators later developed probable cause to arrest the suspect for possession of a stolen motor vehicle. The suspect was booked into Spokane County Jail for this charge and for driving without a required interlock device.
