SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Convention Center located along the downtown riverbank will be renamed The Spokane Convention Center Presented by the Spokane Tribe of Indians in a 10-year presenting rights deal with Spokane Public Facilities District (SPFD).
”Partnering with the Spokane Convention Center was a natural fit for the Spokane Tribe of Indians, as Spokane ancestors were a river people, living along the banks of the Spokane where the Convention Center campus is located,” Spokane Tribal Business Council chair Greg Abrahamson said in a press release.
“This partnership is a powerful reflection of our enduring connection to this land since time immemorial and our commitment to supporting the cultural, economic, and communal vitality of the region.”
