SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Community College’s (SCC) “The Greenery” is currently offering its poinsettia plants for sale.
The Greenery is a flower shop and nursery run by students, with three greenhouses in which students grow house plants, annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs, according to the SCC website.
Nursery management students at the college grow and study the poinsettia plants before selling them to the community.
All proceeds from the sale will go toward supporting SCC’s “Greenhouse/Nursery” program.
