Spokane Chiefs present Neurodiversity Awareness Night

The Spokane Chiefs are opening their doors to those who experience and interact with the world around them in many different ways. The game this Sunday, October 09, 2022 will have all the fun and excitement of any other Spokane Chiefs hockey game with a few minor exceptions.

Here is what the Spokane Chiefs have told us.

In terms of sound, the music will be quieter, no fan noise makers will be handed out for this game, public address will be limited, and there will be no fire alarm/fog horn type sounds except for the goal song.
Also, the arena lights in the bowl will stay on for the entire show, with no dimming or black out celebrations. And our special guests The Gonzaga Exceptional Bulldogs, a youth hockey team comprised of players with Down syndrome, autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorder will take the ice during the first intermission.

The Spokane Chiefs are also offing free admission to anyone with Neurodiverse tendencies with special discount ticket purchase by those who accompany them. The team has offered to open there phone lines to anyone who has questions regarding these free with discounted purchase tickets.

Gates for the game this Sunday will open at 4pm, warm ups start at 4:25pm and the puck drops at 5:05pm.
