Spokane Chiefs fans can snag memorabilia at arena yard sale

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Chiefs fans have a unique opportunity to own a piece of the team’s history through a large yard sale at Spokane Arena. This two-day event offers a variety of items, including bobbleheads, kitchen equipment, glassware and even computer equipment.

Most of the items, such as t-shirts and posters, were part of past promotional giveaways, adding to their nostalgic value. Spencer McConnachie, a lifelong Spokane Chiefs fan, expressed his excitement about the sale. “This is very exciting as a long time choose fan because it’s memorabilia that you can hold onto for a long time, and it brings back lots of memories of going to Chiefs games with the family, growing up watching hockey in Spokane,” he said.

McConnachie was thrilled to find a variety of items and eagerly acquired as much as he could. The event features contributions from the Spokane Public Facilities District, Spokane Chiefs, and Levy Restaurants.

Among the treasures available, our team discovered one of the original scoreboards, which is priced in the hundreds of dollars.

The sale is taking place in the side parking lot of the arena until 5 p.m. Wednesday and continues Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
